I am currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Yale University. Hence, I can only tutor through virtual sessions. I have experience teaching a range of personalities and grade levels. With regards to my doctoral studies, I consider myself an interdisciplinary scientist who bridges the gaps between technology and basic science. I tend to incorporate this interdisciplinary mentality in the way I teach in order to help my students become well-rounded thinkers!

I am a recent graduate of the University of Chicago and now work in chemical biology research in NYC. At UChicago, I worked closely with a student-founded and run community tutoring program and tutored high schoolers in math and chemistry. I would often structure sessions so that the student would work through problems (either from their test and homework or later, ones I would provide) that they had trouble with so that we could then step back and review the tricky concepts.

It was a delight to work with our tutor. She was professional, patient, and direct. She addressed the gaps I was missing in my learning. I finally able to grasp the missing pieces!
