In the midst of one of the most confusing times to date, maintaining a routine is undoubtedly difficult. COVID-19 has redefined the way we lead our day-to-day activities.  Many aspects of our daily routines are now put off as we are asked to stay at home. In this article, we discuss the benefits of online tutoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting is easy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While it is easy to fall into an unproductive haze, there is no better time than now to better ourselves. This time we spend at home<\/a> is the best time to establish a way to improve. We finally have a chance to improve a skill that we did not have time to work on before. A new language, better writing skills, catching up on missed assignments are all achievable. We have been given a chance to work on ourselves. All that matters now is if you have the willpower to start. At Gooroo, we have just what you might need to start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What defines a good tutoring session? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing a tutor needs is a strong connection with your student. To me, a good tutor is someone who understands the needs of their student. When the initial switch happened, I found myself constantly questioning how I would be able to help my students. How can I create a calm and understanding atmosphere so that my students would want to learn?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sure I am not the only one with these worries. Yet, despite the constant change we see every day, there are many benefits to online<\/a> tutoring that make it a valuable experience. Creating a connection all begins by making someone feel comfortable. Luckily, lessons can be taught virtually anywhere so students do not feel pressured to move from their treasured studying nook. It’s easier for my students to open up to me when they see that I’m comfortable too. We bond over the shared audacity of our living situations. During a time when self-isolation is ever prominent, the online lessons I share with my students have been something we both look forward to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do students change with online tutoring? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An online class has made all my pupils extremely punctual and well prepared. Online tutoring has allowed me to allocate more of my time to tutoring<\/a>. Better yet, with the new features available to Gooroo callers, I can even scan their homework onto the screen and work through problems together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This experience has made me realize that meaningful connections can be made through our screens too. Even though it is uncomfortable and frustrating, we must prioritize public health above all.
