In today\u2019s blog, we\u2019ll talk about some important basic ingredients you should have on hand for your evening meal, how to read the instructions you\u2019re making your dish from, and some ideas for delicious and easy recipes for dinner.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-important-basics\">Important Basics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some essential ingredients to have at the ready in your kitchen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>Salt<\/em>. Helps to season the food and binds certain ingredients together \u2014 particularly meat. \u00a0<\/li><li><em>Pepper<\/em>. Offer bitter tones \u2014 a companion to slat. \u00a0<\/li><li><em>Olive Oil<\/em>. Can come in a variety of different flavours. It helps to stop the food sticking to the pan. Olive oil is the much needed \u201cfat\u201d of any recipe.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-spices\">Spices<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><em>Red Chilli Flakes<\/em>. Adds a kick to your dish.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Coriander<\/em>. A tart, citrusy taste. Found in a lot of recipes.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Paprika<\/em>.\u00a0 A sweet pepper flavour that adds a vibrant red colour.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Oregano<\/em>. An earthy leaf that mellows when cooked.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Turmeric<\/em>. A necessary ingredient of curry power it has a pungent, bitter taste.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Bay Leaves<\/em>. Traditionally removed before eating, they add a minty tree pine heaviness.\u00a0<\/li><li><em>Cayenne Pepper<\/em>. The strongest spice on this list from being ground from a super spicy chilli.<\/li><li><em>Thyme<\/em>. Gives a slightly sour delicate flavour.<\/li><li><em>Cinnamon<\/em>. Make sure you have the required equipment needed to create the dish. Or, that you know the work-around for any equipment you don\u2019t have. \u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Ingredients<\/strong>. Check that you have all the pantry and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gooroo.com\/blog\/types-of-pasta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dry goods<\/a> that the recipe demands.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Clock the order of steps<\/strong>.
